Tripod Hoist

Jason and I engineered a tripod hoist capable of lifting at least 750lbs out of $30 of scrapyard aluminum and $30 of bolts and pins from Lowe's. I looked into buying one--they cost $1-2 thousand online. We're going to use it to lift pieces of taproots onto a trailer after we've freed them from soil with a combination of backhoe, shovel and chainsaw effort. Pictures are posted as well.
